MIDWIVES REGISTRATION ORDINANCE - minor amendment

CRAPTER 162

NIDWIVES REGISTRATION

1. The Midwives Registration Ordinance is amended-

(1) in section 2, in the definition of 'Director', by repealing
'Wedical and HealtW' and substituting 'Hospital Services';

(2) in section 3-
(a) in subsection 2(b) by repealing 'Wedical and Health
Services' and substituting 'Health'.
(b) in subsection 2(c) by repealing 'Wedical and Health
Department' and substituting 'Department of Health'.

2. The Midwives (Registration and Disciplinary Procedure) Reg-
ulations are amended-

(1)by repealing 'the Colony' wherever it occurs in regulations 4,
5, 7 and 12 and substituting 'Hong Konj;

(2)in regulation 6(2) by repealing 'Director' and substituting
'Board' ;

(3)in regulation 9(2) by repealing 'written permission of the
Director' and substituting 'approval of the Board';

(4) in regulation 11(1)(b)(iii), (2), (5)(a) and (7) by repealing
'Director' wherever it occurs and substituting 'chairman';

(5)in regulation 25(a) by repealing 'Director' and substituting
'chairman';

(6) by repealing the Third Schedule and substituting-
