TRAMWAY ORDINANCE - minor amendment

CHAPTER 107

TRAMWAY

1. The Use of Electric Power on the Tramway Rules are
amended-

(1) in rule 5 by repealing 'three feeC and substituting '1 m';

(2)in rule 6 by repealing 'three feet', 'one hundred feet' and
'one-sixteenth of a square inch' and substituting '1 m', '30
m' and '40 mm 2' respectively;

(3)in rule 7 by repealing 'twenty yards', 'three inches' and 'six
feet' and substituting '20 m', '75 mm' and '2 M',
respectively;

(4)in rule 8 by repealing 'two amperes per mile' and substituting
'1.2 A/km';

(5)in rule 11 by repealing 'one half of a mile' and substituting
'0.8 km';

(6)in rule 12 by repealing 'one hundredth of an ampere per mile'
and 'one-half of an ampere per mile' and substituting
mA/km' and '0.3 A/km' respectively;

(7)in rule 13 by repealing 'ten megoluns for a length of one mile'
and substituting '6 M./km';

(8)in rule 15 by repealing 'three feet' and 'eighteen inches' and
substituting ' 1 m' and '0.5 m' respectively.

2. The Tramway Ordinance (Alteration of Fares) Notice is
amended by repealing the Schedule and substituting-
