DOGS AND CATS ORDINANCE - minor amendment

CHAPTER 167

DOGS AND CATS

1. The Dogs and Cats Ordinance is amended-

(1) in section 4(4) by repealing 'seven' and substituting '4';

(2) in section 5 by repealing 'fifty dollars' and substituting '$100';

(3)in section 7 by repealing 'one thousand dollars' and substitu-
ting '$5,000'.

2. The Dogs and Cats Regulations are amended-

(1)by repealing 'Secretary for the New Territories' wherever
occurring and substituting 'Secretary for District Administra-
tion';

(2) by repealing regulation 4 and substituting---

4. No licence fee shall be payable for the issue of a
licence in respect of a dog.

(3)in regulation 23 by repealing 'one thousand dollars' and sub-
stituting '$5,000'.
