DENTISTS REGISTRATION ORDINANCE - minor amendment

CHAPTER 156

DENTISTS REGISTRATION

1. The Dentists (Registration and Disciplinary Procedure)
Regulations are amended-

(1) in regulation 5(2) by repealing '2 inches by 23 inches' and 'II

inches by 2 1/4 inches' and substituting respectively '50 x 70 mm'

and '40 X 60 mm';

(2) in regulation 12-

(a) in paragraph (1)(b)--
(i) by repealing 'or (b)' and substituting ', (b), (ba)
or (c)';

(ii) by repealing 'dental surgeons' in the three places
where it occurs and substituting 'registered dentists';

(iii) by repealing 'the Colony' and substituting 'Hong
Kong' ;

(iv) by repealing 'Director' wherever it occurs and
substituting 'Chairman';

(b)in paragraph (4)(a) by repealing 'Director' and
substituting 'Chairman';

(c) in paragraph (4)(c)--

(i) by repealing 'dental surgeon' and substituting
'registered dentist';

(ii) by repealing 'or (b)' and substituting % (b), (ba)
or (c)';
(iii) by repealing 'the Colony' and substituting 'Hong
Kong';

(d)in paragraph (6) by repealing 'Director' wherever it
occurs and substituting 'Chairman';

(3)in regulation 13 by repealing 'the Colony' in the two places
where it occurs and substituting 'Hong Kong';

(4)in regulation 27(a) by repealing 'Director' and substituting
'Chairman';

(5) by repealing the Second Schedule and substituting-

(d) for a person deemed to be a registered dentist under

2. The Ancillary Dental Workers (Dental Hygienists) Regulations
are amended in regulation 4(4) by repealing 'twenty-five dollars'
and substituting '$100'.
