POLICE FORCE ORDINANCE - minor amendment

CHAPTER 232

POLICE FORCE

1. The Police Force Ordinance is amended-

(1)in section 31(2) by repealing 'only of the Pensions Ordinance
be deemed to have been retired from the public service in
accordance with section 6(d) of the Pensions Ordinance.' and
substituting-

only of-

(a)the Pensions Ordinance (Cap. 89) be deemed to
have retired from the public service in accord-
ance with section 6(1)(d) of that Ordinance;
and

(b)the Pension Benefits Ordinance (Cap. 99) be
deemed to have retired from the public service
in accordance with section 11(1)(g) of that
Ordinance.

(2) in section 37(5) by repealing 'with pension, gratuity or other
allowances, without such benefits or with reduced benefits'.

2. The Police (Discipline) Regulations are amended in regulation
3C(3) by adding 'officer' after 'appointed'.
