CHAPTER 199
ROYAL HONG KONG REGIMENT
1. The Royal Hong Kong Regiment Regulations are amended-
(1)in regulation 5(1) by repealing 'three years and such further
period, not exceeding one year,' and substituting 'such
period';
(2) by adding after regulation 5-
5A. An application for resignation of his office by
the Commanding Officer shall be sent through the Service
Commander to the Governor, who may in his discretion
permit the Commanding Officer to resign his office.
2, The Royal Hong Kong Regiment (Pensions) Regulations are
amended-
(1)in regulation 2 in the definition of 'award' by repealing
'Royal Warrant' and substituting 'Order';
(2) in regulation 3-
(a)by repealing 'Royal Warrant' wherever it occurs and sub-
stituting in each case 'Order';
(b)in paragraph (a) by repealing 'Minister of Pensions
and National Insurance' and substituting 'Secretary of
State'.
