FIRE SERVICES ORDINANCE - minor amendment

CHAPTER 95

FIRE SERVICES

1. The Fire Services Ordinance is amended-

(1)in section 4 by repealing 'and the Pensions Regulations, the
Public Service Commission Ordinance, and the Public Service
Commission Regulations' and substituting-

, the Pension Benefits Ordinance, the Public Service
Commission Ordinance

(2)in the Third Schedule in paragraph (a)(ia) of Part II by
repealing 'either with pension, gratuity or other allowances or
without such benefits or with reduced benefits'.

2. The Fire Service (Installations and Equipment) Regulations are
amended-

(1)in regulation 9 by repealing '$2,000' wherever it occurs and
substituting in each case '$5,000';

(2)in regulation 12 by repealing '$2,000' and substituting
'$5,000'.
